Our Hairpin Turns' Launch Event on March 16th was amazing!
Nearly 100 interesting and engaging women braved the rain at rush hour to join us for our 6:00 p.m. gathering at The Garden Court Hotel in Palo Alto. Great food, fine music, and the opportunity for new connections and to hear about how Hairpin Turns is making a difference in the world of professional women's leadership.
Preliminary Survey Results:
We previewed the preliminary results of our just-completed survey of 706, 25 – 55 year-old college-educated women from across the U.S. about:

How they defined career and personal success for themselves.

How satisfied they are with their career and personal success today.

What they'd ideally like to be doing with their lives.
-
The factors that are stopping them from doing what they want.

And if they're not satisfied, do they have a plan in place to change their situations?

Here's what we found:

Sixty percent were neutral or less than satisfied with their careers, but only 1 in 3, or just 33%, had a plan for changing that.

Fifty-four percent were neutral or less than satisfied with their personal lives, but only 1 in 4, or just 25%, had any plans for changing that!
